Biome is committed to protecting your privacy. This statement outlines our practices in gathering and disseminating information on our website, applications, and services. Personal information is used solely to operate Biome and provide requested products or services unless otherwise authorized. Specific access to your personal information is restricted to Biome employees who require it to fulfill their job duties.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this Policy and post the changes to this page, including an effective date. Your continued use of the Biome website, application, or service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to abide by these or future terms, please do not use the Biome service.

Collection of Personal Information

When you register for an account we ask for information such as your name and email. We also collect other personal information provided during account sign-ups, from address, phone number, email inquiries, or through site contact forms.

We also may collect optional profile details such as profile picture, bio, location, and any other information you choose to share; usage data such as information about how you use Biome, including device type, operating system, IP address, and actions taken within the app; and communications such as messages, posts, or content you create or share within the app. Information we collect is stored on computer servers that we use to operate the site and service.

The personal information we collect is used to provide our products and services, for billing, for identification and authentication, for the general operation and improvement of our service, and to respond to inquiries, and is not used, shared with or sold to other organizations, except: as required to operate Biome and provide the products or services you've requested; to the applicable customer of the account in respect of which contact information is submitted to us; for collection purposes; to law enforcement agencies, in emergencies, for internal security matters, or where required by court order or search warrant; or when we have your permission. We may also disclose personal information in connection with the transfer to the acquirer upon the sale of our business.

For Application activities that request personal information, you agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself. Your registration and/or participation in our Application services may be canceled without notice if at any time we discover that you provide false information, or violate any term of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use.

Security

We take every precaution to protect your information. When you submit information via the Biome application, we follow generally accepted industry practices to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. While we strive to protect your privacy and secure your information, we cannot guarantee the security of information sent via your personal Internet connection, and you disclose such information at your own risk.

Only Biome employees with a specific need to access your information in order to perform their job duties are provided such access to the data you provide, and they must have secure administrative rights to do so. The servers on which personally identifiable information is stored are kept in a restricted, secure environment and are professionally maintained.
